The very handsome Thoroughbred Lauries Crusador xx managed the nigh to impossible by having 13 sons out of his second crop admitted to the main Verden approval in 1994, six of whom were licensed for breeding purposes, including Longchamp. Lauries Crusador is one of the most frequented upgraders of Warmblood breeding. He has produced 43 approved sons and 119 state premium mares and was 2006 Hanoverian of the Year.

Longchamp’s remarkable features are a big frame, attractive conformation, and an excellent rideability. He has a superb temperament, and exceptional movements. Longchamp was Reserve Champion of 3 year old Riding Horses in Germany, and Vice Champion of the performance test 1995, winning the dressage phase, and winner of the bronze medal at the Federal Championships at Warendorf 1996. Following great success in dressage horse competitions at the elementary and intermediate level (eight wins) in 1997 and 1998 he qualified for the federal German dressage horse championships in both years, coming fifth in the 1998 finals. Longchamp has several wins in ‘Prix St George’ dressage competitions.

Longchamp has the highest dressage score of all our stallions (157.52). He offers the opportunity to breed to a very modern type Hanoverian with excellent movements and great beauty. First breeding 1996, he has produced  convincing crops of foals so far including one of the top Verden auction foals of 1998 together with Liptonice (dam of Warkant). He has 5 licensed sons, 33 state premium mares, 118 main studbook mares and 51 auction horses.
