Akzent II, Alabaster’s sire, quickly made a name for himself in Hanover. When he came to Oldenburg in 1985 he had already left several Verden lots and three state stallions and an advanced dressage horse Amazonas. In Oldenburg he continued his stud career with great success. His sons Atachi, Adios (champion dressage horse in Munich) and Alabaster are all full brothers. Dam Waleska is a daughter of the powerful mover Wendepunkt. He is also the dam-sire of the proven Celle state stallion Acapulco by Akzent 11. In the next generation there is the sire of dressage horses Busoni xx, who especially in the maternal line provided exceptional dressage horses. Two descendants of his daughters successfully competed in the 1992 Olympic Games: Gigolo, gold and silver medal, ridden by Isabell Werthe, and Montreux, team silver medal for the Netherlands.

Performance record:  Alabaster did a very good stallion test in Adelheidsdorf in 1992, where his aptitude for dressage became very evident. He achieved the title of federal champion of 5 year old dressage horses in Warendorf in 1994. He is shaped by the foundation sire Abglanz, who established the radiance and beauty of the Trakehner in the Hanoverian breed after World War 1. Alabaster was successful as a sports horse up to Grand Prix level and promoted up to advanced class.

Breeding record: Alabaster’s first crops provided a large number of premium winning foals, of which several were sold for top prices at the Vechta auctions. His son Ad Hoc occupies a stud box at the Warendorf state studfarm, whilst Abanos was put to stud in Rhineland. Another stallion was sold to Denmark. The progeny often display the exceptional type of their sire. Winning sum of progeny in sport is 418,318.00 Euro. He has 26 state premium mares and 46 auction horses, and 7 licensed sons.
