Dancier is by the revered stallion De Niro by Donnerhall. De Niro was awarded the 1-a main premium by the Oldenburg Assoc in 1997 as a result of his overwhelming breeding value rating. His progeny dominate the foal markets in Medingen, Vechta and Verden as evidenced by his son Day and Night, who was sold for the sum of DM 140,000 in Medingen in 2000. The son Desert Moon was third at the Hanoverian approval of 2001 and was the top lot of the 2001 stallion market at the knock-down price of DM530,000. His sons are very popular at the approvals as are his daughters; Die Weingard became 1-b diamond ring mare at the 2000 Oldenburg Elite Mare Show in Rastede. In 2001 his daughter Edina unequivocally won the Oldenburg Elite Mare Show at the same location. He has 22 licensed sons and Celle now stands three of them including Dancier. Lancier carries the important bloodlines of Lauries Crusador xx and Wendekrone/Wendekreis and has 6 licensed sons with the Hanoverian Verband. One son Limonit stands at Celle. He is an improver in riding type and conformation.
Dancier was overall winner at his performance test with an amazing score of 158.46 for dressage and a 10 for trot! Clearly Celle expects great things of this beautiful young stallion in the future! Dancier received the following breakdown of scores at his performance test: 8 character, 9 temperament, 9 willingness, 8 conformation, 10 trot, 9.5 canter, 9.2 walk, 9.3 rideability, 6.6 jumping ability. Dancier went on to excel at the World Championships for Young Dressage Horses in Verden.
