Rarely has the career of a sire been marked by so many culmination points as is the case with Rubinstein 1 In his youth this black stallion was series winner in conformation show classes and aptitude trials up to the federal championships, where he was vice-champion of the 6 year old dressage horses  in 1992. In 1993 he won advanced competitions and in 1994 he already won several Grand Prix competitions at the age of eight. Notwithstanding this, he also has a good command of jumping, a factor that is verified by the majority of his progeny, who are by no means fixated solely on dressage. He is the sire of the approvals winner and federal champion Rohdiamant, as well as a whole series of further approved stallions and state premium mares. He is closely related to the successful international dressage horses, Rembrandt, Ahlerich, and Amon, and the breeding aces Royal Angelo 1 and 11, Romancier, Rhythmic Dancer as well as Rubinstein 11. His dam state premium mare Wokonda was mated with Davignon 1 and gave birth to the approved stallion Donnerwerther. Her sire Werther gained a reputation as a sire of great diversity. His offspring compete successfully on the international dressage course and in international show jumping competitions. The chestnut Dagobert, Regazzoni’s great-grandsire originated from one of the noblest Hanoverian performance lines. The magnificent hereditary transmitter of type Absatz who was frequently successfully coupled with Wohlan (as with Argentan 1 and 11 as well as Lysander) rounds off the pedigree. The damline furthermore, produced the stallions Sherwood (Celle state stud) and Weinzauber, as well as the top dressage horse Just Whisper.

Performance record: Regazzoni won the stallion performance test in Munster-Handorf in 1994 with the tremendous score of 152 points for rideability. He received the optimum score of 10 for temperament, rideability and rideability assessment by an extraneous rider, as well as a further 9.5 score for character and preparedness to perform. He gained 8.5 for walk, 8 for canter and 9 trot. He was federal vice-champion German riding horse in Warendorf in 1995 and won the finals of the 1996 German 5 year old dressage championship. He has competed successfully in dressage competitions up to intermediate level and been trained to advanced class.
Breeding record: Regazzoni was the shooting star of the 1998 approvals season. He presented the approved stallion Rendesvouz in 1997 and in 1998 a total of six Regazzoni sons left the scene of the approval in Verden and Oldenburg with the title approved. These then went to famous stables, including the record priced stallion of the Verden stallion market, Riccione, who went to Rhineland for a sum of DM 350,000. A daughter Revue Girl fetched DM300,000 at auction   Ribera Grande was the best Hanoverian mare at the 2000 Euro-Mare Championship in Brussels, Belgium. Ravenna M was awarded the state premium and highly placed at the 2000 Federal Championship in Warendorf. His 11 licensed sons indicate that Regazzoni can pass on his abilities. At their performance tests Regazzoni’s sons have done well, for example; the stallion Z.B.Ransom (134.9 points), Ragtime (130.2 points) and Regardez (128.5 points). In the qualification finals of the 2005 Bundeschampionate, Royal Highness placed 1st with a score of 9.3 out of 43 horses. In the finals he went on to tie for 4th with 8.7. After scoring 9th Royal Highness and Riverside (14th) both went onto the qualifying round of the 2005 World Championships for Young Dressage Horses in the 5 yo division and these two Regazzoni sons went on to place well in the finals. A Regazzoni daughter out of a Weltmeyer mare won the West German Dressage Championships in Inter 1 level. Regazzoni could not have had a better introduction to his siring career. His offspring have a very extravagant trot.  He has 10 licensed sons, 31 state premium mares, and 40 auction horses.
