Primrose Court was established in 1999 back in the Cotswolds, England, by myself predominantly breeding Warmblood sport ponies, high performance horses and the odd Thoroughbred too. In 2004, myself along with my partner Ali, emigrated to Western Australia and in early 2005 I brought over my then schoolmaster, Highfield Vivaldi, a beautiful Trakehner stallion.

At Primrose Court Warmblood Stud we are dedicated to breeding and producing high performance horses that will be well conformed and sound, both in mind and limbs, and that have the potential to excel in any Olympic discipline. Our horses are modern in type, easy and forward thinking, active, athletic performers as well as much loved members of the family. I combine the most proven of both Australian and European bloodlines to breed top class performers with many of our foals carrying a high percentage of Trakehner genetics as I believe this is a fabulous breed to outcross with.

Our broodmare base is small but ever so strong. This year I don't think I've had such a diverse mix of leading European champions. Each year we constantly strive to breed up from the original mare selection with the aim of injecting more modern, influential International lines that will in turn produce better and better foals that could easily hold their own in European company. This obviously is a time consuming project if, like myself, you have to go it the hard way and breed them yourself, but we feel it imperative if you are striving for the best which I am.
