The AWHA Ltd 2014 Assessment Tour has officially wrapped up today with the 5 Star Equestrian Centre in Victoria being our final venue. I feel a bit melancholy that it has all ended for this year, but I also have a huge sense of pride in the AWHA Ltd and total admiration for our assessors, Joanne Verikios and Lynne Crowden.
Many new friends have been made on the tour and wonderful feedback has been received through the course of our journey this year. Insightful and useful knowledge has been passed on to our members via the seminars with Joanne and Lynne. Lynne's husband Dave also brought an increased element of fun to the tour through his quick wit and sense of humour, and who was also a very "dab hand" behind the camera for us.
On behalf of the AWHA Ltd Federal Board, I would like to thank each of our State committees for their tireless effort to bring our first AWHA Ltd tour to fruition. I would also like to dearly thank our AWHA Ltd 2014 Assessment Tour assessors, Joanne and Lynne, who both made significant personal sacrifices to take part in this tour. They had many long days and nights travelling around Australia and have worked very hard to make this tour a success.
We've received nothing but positive feedback and this is a huge credit to Joanne and Lynne. Thank you to Silvia Ahamer (our AWHA Ltd Federal Registrar) for all of the up-front planning and care that she has taken with entrant details and for keeping the business running with processing new registrations and applications whilst the tour was being conducted. Thank you also to Shanna Antrim (our AWHA Ltd Federal Publicity Officer) who made sure that news, photos and results were posted every day (come rain, hail or shine) to keep our members updated.

We have already started plans for our 2015 AWHA Ltd National Assessment Tour, which we hope to make even bigger and better. As details are finalised, they will be published on the AWHA Ltd website and on our Facebook web page.
